Chris Avantgarde, the German composer behind “Consciousness” with Anyma, brings his debut album Hyperreal to Outernet Live in the West End on Saturday 17 October 2026. Magnus and Geyser join him in support.
Chris Avantgarde is Christian Vornweg, a record producer and composer who trained as a multi-instrumentalist in classical music and jazz. He first released club records on labels including Dirtybird and Size, then moved into film, trailer and video game music.
That work includes trailer music for Netflix’s Dark, Warner Bros. Pictures’ Birds of Prey and Columbia’s Sicario 2, and game trailers for Xbox and PlayStation. He has remixed The Prodigy, and he writes and produces for major-label pop artists.
His records with Anyma began with “Consciousness” on the Afterlife label in 2022 and continued with “Eternity” and “Simulation”. Hyperreal gathers that cinematic melodic techno under his own name, and his VNTGRD imprint carries his original releases.
He lives in London, and this is his headline show for the album. Outernet Live is built around immersive screens and visual production, which suits music that first served the screen and a live show that treats sound and image as one composition.
