CamelPhat headlined the last of Krankbrother's five summer days at Finsbury Park on Sunday 10 August 2025, which closed the park's major events season for the year.
CamelPhat, the duo behind “Cola”, headlined Finsbury Park on Sunday 10 August 2025, the last of Krankbrother’s five summer days in the park.
Dave Whelan and Mike Di Scala met in a Liverpool record shop, 3 Beat Records, and were resident DJs at the city’s Society nightclub. They released their first records as CamelPhat in 2010, at first in wrestling masks so the music would be judged rather than the pair.
“Cola”, their 2017 single with Elderbrook, reached number one on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart and was nominated for a Grammy.
Krankbrother is a London promoter that stages artist-led days in the city’s parks, each sold under one headliner’s name. In 2025 it held one at Gunnersbury Park in June and five at Finsbury Park across the first two weekends of August.
Krankbrother billed the day, which ran from 13:00 to 21:30, as the duo’s first headline outdoor show in London. Haringey Council, which licenses the park, recorded it as the close of the park’s major events season.
Mind Against, Alan Dixon, Julya Karma and Mita Gami shared the bill, with the Scenarios trio of Emanuel Satie, MAGA and Sean Doron.
