1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair 2026

1-54 takes Somerset House for four days in the middle of October 2026, timed to the week the rest of the London art market is also in town. Thursday 15 October is the VIP and press preview, eleven until seven; Friday the 16th opens to the public and to VIPs on the same hours, Saturday the 17th holds them, and Sunday the 18th closes an hour earlier at six. The fair runs its own programme of special projects alongside the exhibiting galleries rather than presenting a floor of stands alone. The Thursday is the one day of the four that is not on public sale.
