Peggy Zina, the Greek laïka singer who came second in Greece’s 2002 national final for Eurovision, had been billed at the Troxy in Limehouse on Sunday 25 January 2026. The promoters postponed the show, and no new date has been announced.

Born Panagiota-Calliope Zina in Athens in 1975, to a family from Ioannina, she began piano at five and trained in jazz dance through her school years.

Her self-titled 1995 debut album carried the hit “An Pas Me Alli Tha Sou Spaso to Kefali”. Club residencies alongside Lefteris Pantazis, Notis Sfakianakis and Sakis Rouvas followed through the late nineties.

In the 2002 national final she finished behind Michalis Rakintzis, on a song Thanos Kalliris wrote for her. Twelve studio albums have followed her debut, and she now records for Panik Records.

In March 2010 Alpha TV ranked her among the most certified female artists of the Greek phonographic era since 1960. She held nine platinum and two gold records at that point.

The Troxy, a Grade II-listed Art Deco cinema on Commercial Road, was to have staged the concert under Anefani Productions with London Greek Radio.
