Marina Satti, who reached the Eurovision Song Contest final for Greece with “Zari”, played O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in West London on Monday 22 September 2025. The date was part of the European leg of her tour behind the EP P.O.P.

Born in Athens in 1986 and raised in Crete from six, Satti began piano at five at the Apollo Conservatory. She studied lyrical monody, opera, classical piano and jazz, then spent three years at Berklee College of Music in Boston on a scholarship.

In 2016 she founded Fonés, an a cappella group reviving traditional Greek polyphony, and released the single “Koupes”. “Mantissa” followed in 2017 and charted across the European Union.

“Zari” became the first Greek-language song to reach the Spotify Global Top 50, and drew a record 89 per cent television share in Greece. The EP that followed, P.O.P., went twice platinum and reached the top ten of Spotify’s global albums chart.

At Shepherd’s Bush the set folded the Greek, Arabic and Balkan textures of her music into a show built for the venue’s stage.

The singer Antigoni opened the evening.
