Ira Katsouda, the Athens stand-up behind ΜΙΝΙΜΑΛ, returns to London with her fourth solo show, performed in Greek at the Seven Dials Club in Covent Garden.
Ira Katsouda, the Athens stand-up behind ΜΙΝΙΜΑΛ, performs her fourth solo show, Όμορφες Σκέψεις, in Greek at the Seven Dials Club in Covent Garden on Sunday 29 November 2026.
Katsouda studied economics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, alongside classical music, dance and acting, before making stand-up her profession. Her first solo show, Χωρίς Γλουτένη, opened in 2017.
ΜΙΝΙΜΑΛ opened in October 2022 and ran two seasons in Athens, with two tours of Greece and Europe. She has also written a play, Ο Γάμος.
She co-presented a programme on Greek public television and fronts its documentary series 45 μάστοροι 60 μαθητάδες. She co-organises the Thessaloniki Comedy Festival and created ΜΠΡΑΗΤ ΣΑΗΝΤ, a podcast on comedy and disability.
The new show asks, among other things, what visitors from another planet would make of the human species. Her promoter, Comedy Carnival Ελλάς, has brought Greek stand-up to London since 2016. It first brought her here in May 2022, on a double bill with Dimitra Nikitea.
