Eleonora Zouganeli, whose songs are familiar from Greek radio, closed 2025 with a concert at EartH in Dalston on Monday 15 December 2025.

Born in Athens in 1983, she is the daughter of two established performers, Giannis Zouganelis and Isidora Sideri. She appeared in children’s theatre productions and on recordings from an early age, and her first live performances came alongside George Dalaras.

She released her debut studio album, Ela, in 2008. Her catalogue since has run across entehno, rock and laiko.

Her work has reached beyond a pop bill. She has shared a stage with the Portuguese fadista Dulce Pontes in the concert halls of Athens and Thessaloniki, and taken part in a tribute evening for Andrea Bocelli. In 2011 she closed the Special Olympics European Summer Games at the Panathenaic Stadium in Athens.

In 2015 she took her first theatrical role, as Edith Piaf in the National Theatre’s production of Pam Gems’s Piaf. The run sold out for three months.

The Dalston evening was all seated, in a converted Hackney hall. It drew on the songs that built her career, for a young diaspora audience.
