/ About
The Hari sits on Chesham Place, a quiet residential crescent that runs between Sloane Square and Knightsbridge, close enough to both neighbourhoods to claim neither, which gives it a particular discretion. The hotel has 85 rooms and has been independently run under the Hari name since 2016, with an approach to design that leans into personality rather than five-star formula: every room carries original artwork, the public spaces feel more like a well-curated home than a lobby, and the bar is one of the more genuinely comfortable places to drink in Belgravia.
For private hire, the hotel offers four distinct spaces. The Hari Bar is the centrepiece — 107 square metres of vintage Danish furniture, bookshelves, and contemporary artwork, available for exclusive hire at up to 120 standing. Its mezzanine holds The Snug, a semi-private lounge with exposed brick, marble fireplace, and deep sofas that has the character of a private members' room within a room. The Garden Terrace on the mezzanine level is the hotel's most distinctive space: a year-round outdoor terrace with living walls, Edison lighting, and a retractable glass roof, accommodating 25 standing or 15 seated. The Muse on the first floor is a private dining room with floor-to-ceiling steel-framed windows and an open fireplace that seats up to 22, convertible between boardroom and dinner configurations.
il Pampero, the Italian restaurant on the ground floor, operates as a separate entity and is not covered here. Events across all four hotel spaces are managed through a single events team and the licence runs to 1am.

The Hari Bar
Exclusive HireThe hotel's main bar floor, available for exclusive hire. At 107 square metres, the space combines bookshelves, vintage Danish furniture, Persian rugs, and original artworks into a room that reads more like a private members' club than a hotel bar. The bar counter itself is recessed behind a grid of shelving, and the lounge seating creates a series of natural breakout areas. With the adjacent Garden Terrace included in evening hire until 11pm, the combined capacity reaches 120 standing. The space runs its own cocktail programme and the atmosphere holds well late into the evening.
The Snug
Semi PrivateOn the mezzanine level above the bar, The Snug is a semi-private room with its own fireplace, exposed brick walls, and cashmere sofas. It functions as an intimate retreat within the bar floor — enclosed enough to feel private, open enough to remain connected to the wider space. The room holds 40 standing or 15 seated and suits cocktail receptions and canapé gatherings particularly well.
The Garden Terrace
Exclusive HireA fully enclosed outdoor terrace on the mezzanine level with living ivy and flower walls, strategic heaters, and a retractable glass roof that makes it genuinely year-round. At 29 square metres the space is intimate — 25 standing, 15 seated — but its character is distinct from any interior room: the combination of natural planting, warm Edison lighting, and the ability to open the roof in good weather makes it unlike anything else in the hotel. Available independently or as part of an exclusive bar hire until 11pm.
The Muse
PrivateA first-floor private room with floor-to-ceiling steel-framed windows that overlook Chesham Place and an open fireplace at the opposite end. At 30 square metres, it seats up to 22 for a boardroom meeting or private dinner, and the room divides into two smaller configurations if needed. The combination of natural light, the fireplace, and original artworks on the walls keeps it from reading as a conference room even in its daytime meeting layout.
