Sunday in Brooklyn opened on James Street in August 2024, the second London site for the Williamsburg restaurant that Todd Enany, Adam Landsman and chef Jaime Young started in 2016. It stands on the St Christopher's Place side of Oxford Street, on two floors, with an open kitchen and a pavement terrace. The ground floor is the room people know it by: herringbone parquet, hanging ferns, globe lights and a wall of wine, warm rather than formal.
The private rooms are named after Williamsburg streets. Bedford and Metropolitan each seat sixteen and open into one another for a single long table of up to thirty-two, and Bedford has its own bar. The Wythe Room seats eleven and the Ironworks Vault nine, both enclosed, both with a screen. The Dining Room takes sixty seated or sixty standing and has a private entrance from Gee's Court, so a party arrives without crossing the restaurant, plus a window onto the kitchen pass.
Taken whole, the venue holds 120 seated or 180 standing across both floors, the ground floor for the meal and the lower one for what follows. The lower level has its own bar, brick walls and dark panelling, and it takes a party on after dinner. Menus are written for the occasion and the house keeps a dedicated events team.
