/ About

Sartoria arrived in the City in February 2026, the third London address for the Milanese-inflected Italian house that began on Savile Row. It occupies 16 New Street in Devonshire Square, inside the Old Bengal Warehouse: built in 1759 by the East India Company and recognised as the City's oldest surviving warehouse, its Grade II listed brick shell once traded silks and spices from Bengal.

Inside, mid-century detailing and a marble-topped bar carry over the tailoring language of the original restaurant: green pendant lighting, dark tufted banquettes and a wall of black-and-white prints referencing the brand's Savile Row roots. Wine bottles line the back bar three shelves deep, and a terrace off Devonshire Square, styled after Lake Como, opens for aperitivo and long lunches through the warmer months.

The whole restaurant is available for exclusive hire outside standard service, alongside group dining in the main room and terrace bookings. It gives the City a private room with real scale, set inside period brickwork a short walk from Liverpool Street station.
