/ About
Quaglino's has held court in St James's since 1929, a sweeping art-deco room reached by a curved staircase that delivers guests straight onto the floor. The main restaurant runs a live programme around its show-stopping central stage, with resident DJ sets and live acts carrying the room from dinner into late-night dancing. Two bars, a glamorous mezzanine overlooking the floor, and a tradition of cabaret give it the rhythm of a supper club rather than a restaurant.
The venue scales from intimate to full takeover. The Prince of Wales room, glass-walled above the restaurant, and the smaller Giovanni room handle private dining, while the mezzanine bar suits drinks and canapes above the action. For a complete event the whole room is available for private hire, seating up to 250 and holding 500 standing for a night built around the stage and a packed floor.
