Motorino

Motorino is the big London-Italian that chefs Luke Ahearne and Stevie Parle opened on Pearson Square in autumn 2025, a 150-cover room in the Fitzrovia corner that most recently housed the Arber Garden pub. Ahearne, who won a Michelin star inside a year at Lita, cooks; Parle, of Town and the former Rotorino, shapes the room, with restaurateur Jonathan Downey the third name behind it. The open kitchen runs to the far end of the space, and the cooking follows the traditional Italian order of snacks, pasta and mains through a contemporary lens.

The look is the retro-futurism Parle established at Town, carried here in dark wood and moody lighting, with a substantial bar at the front running a cocktail list built by Kevin Armstrong of Satan's Whiskers. It reads as a proper night-out restaurant rather than a quiet dining room, which is what makes it work for a private party.

Three private dining rooms sit off the main floor, each themed on a 1970s recording studio in soft carpet and timber panelling: the Studio takes 14 to 30, while the smaller Red and Green rooms suit tables of eight to twelve. Bar Motorino can be taken for drinks and canapes, and the whole venue is available for a buyout: up to 150 seated across the room, or a standing reception of up to 350 for a party, with a terrace adding space in the warmer months.
