Mandarin Bar

The Mandarin Bar sits on the ground floor of Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, the hotel's long-standing cocktail room off the Knightsbridge lobby. Adam D. Tihany's 2019 redesign centred it on a rectangular catwalk-style bar beneath a gold ceiling, with suspended copper-glass light fixtures and a frosted glass wall worked in a gold geometric pattern. Blue velvet seating and a glazed wine display frame the room.

It trades as a pre-dinner and late-evening room, open into the early hours at the weekend, with a cocktail list, champagne, a caviar menu and bar snacks. For private occasions the bar is taken by arrangement through the hotel's events team, which handles receptions and celebrations across the property. Enquiries route through the house.
