Inner Temple Hall

A fully serviced marquee installed on the Garden lawn for a fixed summer period — in 2026, from 16 June to 9 July. It runs as a venue in its own right, with integrated restrooms, a cloakroom and a feature bar, and a decking area that opens onto the surrounding lawns. Weekday hire runs 6.00pm to 10.30pm, weekends 11.00am to 9.00pm, and amplified sound in the Garden is capped at 73 decibels. Licensed for civil ceremonies.

A paved Georgian courtyard beside Temple Church, planted with mature plane trees and holding up to 500 for a reception. Used for arrival drinks and pre-dinner receptions ahead of an event in the building, or as a standalone reception with a wet-weather room held inside. Available from 6.00pm Monday to Friday and through the day at weekends.

The Inn's first-floor banqueting hall, 23.8m by 12.1m, panelled in oak and hung with portraits and heraldic shields under stained glass and silvered chandeliers. A marble floor runs the length of the room and is offered as a dancing surface without an additional floor laid over it, which is what lets a dinner here carry on into the evening. A gallery above is used for photography. There is a built-in PA with microphone for speeches and presentations; staging, lighting and production are brought in. Available for evening events from 6.00pm Monday to Friday, and day or evening at weekends.

Three acres of award-winning garden running towards the Thames, and one of the largest privately held gardens in central London. Hired on its own or alongside the indoor rooms, it holds 300 for a reception across open lawns and seasonal planting, and it is licensed for civil ceremonies. Available May to September; weekday events run 6.00pm to 9.00pm, weekends from 11.00am, and all guests are away by 21.30.

A 16m by 8m room panelled in oak, with a Grinling Gibbons carving over the fireplace, a baby grand piano and large south-facing windows onto the estate and Garden. It takes 96 for dinner or 200 for a reception, connects directly through to the Luncheon Room, and is the room most often used for drinks before dinner in the Hall.

A third-floor theatre with tiered seating for 120 and a breakout space included in the hire. Built-in presentation technology — a large screen, lectern and microphone system, with additional microphones for panels — and support for hybrid, livestreamed or recorded sessions. The adjoining breakout room has daylight and views across the estate and Garden.

A first-floor room of 12m by 7.2m with tall windows onto the Garden, lighter and less formal than the rooms either side of it. It seats 50 for dinner or holds 120 for a reception, and links the Hall through to the Parliament Chamber — which is how most larger events use it, as the reception room between the two.

An open-air terrace at the front of the Treasury Building, looking over the Garden and framed by lavender and seasonal planting. It takes 120 for a reception and is used for arrival drinks that lead into dinner indoors. Available May to September, typically 6.00pm to 9.00pm Monday to Friday, and can be folded into weekend events.

A first-floor corner room of 12m by 7.2m, usually dressed with soft furnishings so it sits somewhere between a lounge and a private dining room. Daylight on two sides. It dines 40, holds 100 for a reception, and works as a pre-dinner room that opens into the spaces next door.

Eight rooms on the fourth floor with daylight, garden views and integrated technology, dining 30 or holding 60 for a reception. The whole floor can be taken exclusively, with a staffed cloakroom, for a conference or a corporate day.
