/ About
INCA opened on Argyll Street, in the shadow of the London Palladium, as the city's first cabaret-style restaurant. The kitchen is South American with a Nikkei accent: Peruvian roots run through Japanese technique, so ceviche and tostadas share the table with sushi, tempura and grilled wagyu, plated for sharing alongside a long list of tequilas, mezcals and cocktails. The room is built around a central stage, with dining tables stepped across raised levels so every seat looks onto the show.
The space turns through the night. As dinner gives way to the late hours, live performers, singers, dancers and aerial acts work the stage between courses, and resident DJs take over as the restaurant becomes a party. Off the main floor sits Luna Lounge, a self-contained bar and DJ space spanning three arches that can be sectioned off or thrown open as one, with its own serious in-house sound system and adjustable lighting. A separate private dining room, framed by a hand-painted sun motif, gives a quieter table with a clear view of the action.
The whole venue runs on an extended licence, serving until 5am with entertainment permitted later still, which makes it a rare central London room genuinely built for the small hours. For private events the main restaurant, Luna Lounge and the private dining room can be hired individually or together, equally at home for a launch, a milestone birthday or a corporate evening that needs to end on the dancefloor.
