Hutong sits on Level 33 of The Shard, two floors above sister restaurant Aqua Shard, serving northern Chinese cuisine built on continually replenished sharing menus. Floor-to-ceiling windows wrap the room with panoramic views, and the Shanghai Bar runs daily until late, giving private events both a dining and a reception setting in the sky.
Two private dining rooms anchor the events offer: the Beijing room seats up to 28 and the Shanghai room up to 18, both glass-walled to the view. The Shanghai Bar holds standing receptions, and the venue divides into Beijing and Shanghai wings for semi-exclusive hire, scaling to 120 seated or 340 standing across the whole floor. Connecting with Aqua Shard below expands the combined capacity well beyond that.
