House of Louie

House of Louie occupies a restored 19th-century townhouse on West Street, on the Covent Garden edge of Soho, where L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon once traded. It is the first major London opening from Paris Society, the French hospitality group founded by Laurent de Gourcuff and now part of Accor, and a reimagining of Louie, the Creole-inflected French restaurant Guillaume Glipa launched on the site in 2020. The building now works as three venues stacked over three floors, each with its own kitchen, bar and soundtrack, and guests are meant to move between them as the night turns.

The ground floor holds Wani Tzuki, a Japanese izakaya of sushi, sashimi and robata read through French technique, with DJ sets running through service. Above it sits Louie itself, a velvet-and-lamplight French brasserie carried each evening by live piano and vocal jazz. At the top is the Alligator Bar, a cocktail room and planted terrace that keeps live music and DJs going late into the week. A grand fireplace, deep banquettes and layered pattern give every floor the feel of a private house rather than a dining room.

For private events the house hires floor by floor or in full, up to 350 across the building. Louie and Wani Tzuki each take exclusive use of a whole restaurant floor; the Alligator Bar and its terrace suit receptions and late celebrations; and two private rooms, the Terrace and the Cabana, hold smaller dinners. A private entrance, cloakroom and dedicated events team support the larger takeovers, and the built-in DJ and live-music programming makes it a natural fit for a hosted night.
