/ About
Hauser & Wirth arrived on Savile Row in October 2010, designed by Selldorf Architects in collaboration with Ben Adams Architects. The result is 20,000 square feet of two column-free exhibition spaces at ground level, with private viewing rooms and administrative offices above. The architecture is deliberately restrained: exposed concrete floors and soaring ceiling heights in the North Gallery; warmer wood flooring and a frosted laylight overhead in the South Gallery. The two spaces can operate independently or be opened into a single continuous floor.
The gallery represents one of the most significant commercial art operations in London, showing both living artists and historic estates across contemporary and modern work. Private dinners and exclusive events have been produced within the exhibition spaces, working around the installations rather than stripping them. The North Gallery, in particular, offers the kind of uninterrupted floor plan and raw architectural volume that translates naturally into a DJ event context.
Available for private hire, the spaces are most frequently used for launch events, private dinners and collector evenings. Enquiries are handled directly through the gallery's London team.

North Gallery
Exclusive HireThe North Gallery is the larger of the two exhibition spaces: column-free, with poured concrete floors and ceiling heights suited to large-scale installation and sculpture. Track and linear lighting runs the full length of the ceiling. The scale of the room reads as genuinely architectural rather than simply big, and the concrete floor carries sound differently to a carpeted event space.
South Gallery
Exclusive HireThe South Gallery is set apart by a large frosted laylight that runs across much of the ceiling, diffusing daylight evenly across wood-floored rooms with white plaster walls. It is more intimate in scale than the North Gallery and was designed by Selldorf Architects to suit works on paper and smaller installations. The warm timber floor and softer proportions make it the more immediately habitable of the two spaces for a seated private event.
