/ About
Cipriani London has held its corner of Davies Street since 2004, a Mayfair outpost of the family whose Harry's Bar has served Venice since 1931. The room reads as a piece of that lineage: high-gloss wood, chrome detailing, crisp white linen and walls hung with the black-and-white fashion and jazz photography that has become its signature. The kitchen keeps to the classics it is known for, among them the carpaccio and the Bellini first served under the Cipriani name in Venice.
The crowd is as much the draw as the cooking. A buzzy, international set has kept the tables full and the room talked about for two decades, and it remains one of Mayfair's more dependable sightings of the fashion and society circuit. For private events the restaurant offers a dedicated private dining room seating up to 40, with the wider floor available for larger receptions and parties by arrangement. The Davies Street restaurant also trades as C London, the name it carried through the late 2000s.
