Celeste

Celeste is the third house from Estelle Community, after Maison Estelle in Mayfair and Estelle Manor in Oxfordshire, and it occupies the Ledbury Road townhouse that was once Beach Blanket Babylon. It runs over four floors. The ground floor is an all-day Italian-American restaurant with a Californian accent, and it is the first Estelle room open to non-members: a front terrace, a wraparound bar under a hand-painted mural on a celestial theme, and The Courtyard at the rear, set around an 18th-century stone fireplace. The wine list runs to more than 1,000 bottles, with over 200 by the glass.

The club sits above. The first-floor members' bar takes its cue from Tokyo's listening bars, with vinyl on open shelving for members to choose from. Above it is The Pantry, a members' restaurant built around an open kitchen with a daily izakaya menu. At the top is The Apartment, the most private room in the house, kept for dinner parties and drinks receptions. The calendar runs to day parties with guest DJs that take over the whole townhouse, vinyl nights and Celeste Lates, where the music plays into the early hours.

For private events the house offers the Ground Floor Restaurant and Courtyard and The Apartment, with enquiries through its events team. An event in the members' spaces is hosted by a member, who stays with their guests throughout. The club keeps a no-photography rule upstairs and allows no brand logos or goodie bags at private events.
