Atrium Restaurant at Mandarin Oriental Mayfair

Atrium Restaurant is the main dining room of Mandarin Oriental Mayfair on Hanover Square. It sits under a triple-height skylight, with a marble staircase curving down into the room, and the hotel describes the design as drawn from earth, wind and water. The hotel took the space back as its own restaurant in August 2025.

By day it serves a contemporary European breakfast and lunch: eggs Benedict and labneh shakshuka in the morning, then crudos, pizzettas, lobster spaghetti and an Ibérico pork chop at lunch. The room is also offered for private events, seating 80 for dinner or taking 150 for a reception, and the hotel suggests opening the evening with champagne.

Three private dining rooms sit beside the restaurant, each named in Japanese for an element. Ka (fire) seats 16, or takes 25 for a canapé reception. Sui (water) seats 20, and the two open into one L-shaped room for 34 at dinner or 50 standing. Chi (earth) is the smallest, for up to seven. Menus for the private rooms are tailored to the occasion, with wines chosen by the hotel's sommeliers.
