/ About
AllBright Mayfair occupies a five-storey townhouse on Maddox Street, once home to auctioneers Dreweatts & Bloomsbury and, from May 2019, the second London home of AllBright, the private members' club for professional women founded by Debbie Wosskow and Anna Jones. Interior designer Suzy Hoodless restores the building's timber floors and panelled walls, while curator Beth Greenacre hangs more than 120 works by over eighty women artists across the five floors, from a 1961 Diane Arbus photograph to graduates fresh out of the Slade.
The ground floor opens onto a mirrored entrance hall beneath a statement chandelier. Above it sits an all-day restaurant and bar, its gold-mirrored back bar and blush banquettes built for long lunches as much as evening drinks, and a members' lounge with a marble fireplace and a rotating art hang for quieter work and conversation. The second floor is given over to wellness, with a fitness studio, treatment rooms and a hair and beauty salon papered in a Christopher Farr reissue of a Raoul Dufy print. A loft-style events space under the roof, styled like a glasshouse with rattan furniture and trailing plants, opens onto one of two roof terraces looking over Mayfair's rooftops.
Private dining rooms and the loft floor take bookings for panels, cocktail parties, DJ evenings and product launches, run for the club's own events programme of mentoring, coaching and networking.
