Behind an unmarked door on Davies Street, a few steps from Annabel's and Claridge's, Nikita is one of Mayfair's most discreet rooms. The cocktail, champagne and caviar club opened in December 2021 and was conceived by boutique studio Victoria Vogel as a Haussmann-style Parisian pied-a-terre dropped into the heart of W1. Scarlet lacquered ceilings, ornate plasterwork, mirrored panelling and a mural of trailing flora wrap a single low-lit room where every table carries its own red-shaded lamp.

The club turns on intimacy rather than scale. Velvet-lined booths and private alcoves sit around a marble bar, with deep patterned carpet underfoot and original work by Haculla artist Harif Guzman on the walls. Days bring wine tastings and quieter sittings; evenings move to lamp-lit dinners and a programme of events that leans toward independent artists and music. A secret tunnel connects the club to its sister dining room next door, so members can drift between the two without ever stepping back onto the street.

For a private DJ event this is a jewel-box room, sound contained within crimson walls and a layout built for a crowd that wants to be close to the music.
