abc kitchens at The Emory

Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten's first London address brings together the three pillars of his New York abc universe — abc kitchen, abcV, and abc cocina — under one roof for the first time. The ground-floor space at The Emory was designed by Rémi Tessier, whose palette of burnt orange, warm wood, and a 12-metre snaking couch gives the room a sun-baked Oaxacan warmth against the glass facade overlooking Hyde Park. Damien Hirst's Secret Gardens Paintings hang throughout, adding vivid colour to an interior that is as considered as the menu.

The kitchen's philosophy is ingredient-led and seasonal: sharing plates combine Latin spice, Mediterranean sourcing, and a plant-forward sensibility across all-day service from breakfast through dinner. A wine cave of amber glass acts as an oversized glowing lantern at the heart of the room, housing a curated selection accompanied by a full cocktail programme. The result is a dining room that feels genuinely alive at every hour.

For private gatherings, The Market Table sits adjacent to the open kitchen, enclosed by a full-height curtain that switches the space between semi-private and fully private. With a view of both the pass and the main dining floor, it seats up to twelve guests in a terracotta-walled, custom-lit room that is among the more intimate private dining settings in Belgravia.
