Salon Privé Blenheim Palace 2025

27 – 31 August 2025 Blenheim Palace · Woodstock, Oxfordshire

Salon Privé marked its twentieth edition at Blenheim Palace in August 2025, where a 1936 Mercedes-Benz 500 K Spezial Roadster took Best of Show.

Salon Privé held its 20th edition at Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, from Wednesday 27 to Sunday 31 August 2025. Its Concours d’Elégance is the only one in Britain judged by a professional jury.

The brothers Andrew and David Bagley conceived the event after visits to Amelia Island, Monterey Week in California and the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este on Lake Como. They launched it at the Hurlingham Club in London in 2006.

Five years later it moved to Syon Park in west London. In 2015 it came to Blenheim, where Sir Winston Churchill was born. The concours is run with Aviva Private Clients.

The anniversary was an emerald one, so The Green Collection, an avenue of cars in shades of green, lined the grounds. New models were unveiled on the Wednesday.

On the Thursday the jury named 12 class winners, then chose a 1936 Mercedes-Benz 500 K Spezial Roadster by Sindelfingen, from The Auriga Collection, as Best of Show. A 1956 Ferrari 410 Superamerica ‘Super Fast’ prototype by Pinin Farina was second.

Friday was Ladies’ Day with Boodles, and on the Saturday a 1933 Invicta S Type won the Club Trophy by Lockton.
