The world premiere of Pride runs in the Dorfman to 12 September 2026 and is sold out; the Bridge Theatre takes the transfer from 12 November.
The National gave Pride its world premiere in the Dorfman on 11 June 2026 and the run closes on 12 September. Stephen Beresford, who wrote the 1984-set film, wrote the book and lyrics; Matthew Warchus, who directed the film, directs the stage version, with music by Christopher Nightingale, Josh Cohen and DJ Walde. The run is sold out and the box office is on returns only, so a seat now depends on checking through the day rather than booking. The production transfers to the Bridge Theatre on 12 November 2026 for a run to May, which is the practical route in for anyone who did not book in the spring.
