The NFL has played regular season games in London since 2007, when Wembley took the first of them, and the fixture has grown from a curiosity into a permanent part of the league’s calendar. Nothing has to be adapted or trucked in, so a London crowd watches a game played to the same specification as one in Indianapolis, which was not true of the early Wembley years.
