The singer behind Location and Eastside plays British Airways ARC at Olympia on Thursday 15 October 2026, his London date of the It’s Always Summer Somewhere Tour.
Khalid Robinson was born in 1998 at Fort Stewart, Georgia, into an army family, and moved between Kentucky, upstate New York and six years in Heidelberg before a final school year in El Paso. He posted his first songs to SoundCloud, and Location, released just before he graduated, went diamond in America and brought a deal with Right Hand Music Group and RCA. American Teen followed in 2017 and went four times platinum, and his verse on Logic’s 1-800-273-8255 earned a Grammy nomination for Song of the Year.
Free Spirit opened at number one in America in 2019, and in April that year he had more monthly listeners on Spotify than any artist in the world. Love Lies with Normani and Eastside with Halsey and Benny Blanco both set records for the longest run on America’s mainstream pop radio chart. Sincere came in 2024 and After the Sun Goes Down in October 2025, and his songs have now been streamed more than 35 billion times.
Thursday 15 October 2026 is his London night of the It’s Always Summer Somewhere Tour, a tour he has described as his first real chance in a while to sing to people face to face. Jae Stephens, a Los Angeles pop and R&B singer, songwriter and producer, opens. British Airways ARC is the new arena at Olympia, reached along Emberton Walk beneath the building’s 83-metre digital canopy.
