Diljit Dosanjh takes the Aura World Tour to Wembley on Saturday 12 September 2026 — the only stadium on a European leg otherwise played in arenas, and already sold out.
Diljit Dosanjh was born in 1984 in a village in the Jalandhar district of Punjab and learned to sing kirtan in the gurdwaras of Ludhiana, where he was sent at eleven to be schooled. He was paid to sing at a birthday party at eighteen and broke properly in 2011 with “Lak 28 Kudi Da”. Two careers have run in parallel since: eight Punjabi albums, and a screen career that began in Punjabi comedy with Jatt & Juliet, crossed into Hindi cinema with Udta Punjab, and reached the title role in Imtiaz Ali’s Amar Singh Chamkila.
He went global without translating. He was the first Indian artist to perform in Punjabi at Coachella, in 2023, and played BC Place in Vancouver to more than 50,000 the year after, the largest show a Punjabi artist has given outside India. He has recorded with Sia, Saweetie and Anne-Marie, sat for the Met Gala and played American late-night television twice, and the songs are still in Punjabi.
London has had him at The O2 arena, three nights in October 2024, on a Dil-Luminati tour that sold out worldwide. Aura, behind the 2025 album of the same name, is the step up: Wembley is the only stadium on the tour’s European leg, where Berlin, Paris, Milan, Amsterdam, Birmingham and Manchester are all arenas. His own tour listing has London sold out while those are still selling.
