The thirteenth British Motor Yacht Show closed on the Hamble in 2026 with record attendance and more than £10 million in confirmed sales.
Record attendance closed the thirteenth British Motor Yacht Show, held afloat at Swanwick Marina on the River Hamble in Hampshire from Thursday 14 to Sunday 17 May 2026.
Jack Newington started Fairline at Oundle in 1963, and Princess began in Plymouth in 1965 as Marine Projects. The Braithwaite brothers founded Poole Power Boats in 1969, renamed Sunseeker in 1985.
With Premier Marinas, Fairline, Princess and Sunseeker set the show apart from the crowded national boat shows. Buyers come by appointment and the yachts lie on a working marina’s pontoons, so a visit is a conversation with the builder aboard the boat.
The 2026 show carried more than 70 motor yachts. Fairline presented the Targa 47 GT and the Targa 50 Edition. Sunseeker London brought its largest UK show line-up, including the 90 Ocean and the Ocean 82.
Princess Motor Yacht Sales mounted its largest display at the show, and the Axopar 38 XC Cross Cabin and the Marex 380 made their UK debuts. Vortec Marine marked its twentieth anniversary with the Hylas 57, the first sailing yacht shown there.
Princess Motor Yacht Sales and Argo Yachting confirmed more than £10 million in sales between them.
