Wembley Stadium held the final three nights of Bon Jovi’s Forever Tour in September 2026, the last of them on Wednesday 9 September closing the band’s first full run since Jon Bon Jovi’s vocal-cord surgery.
The band formed in New Jersey in 1983, after Jon Bon Jovi cut a demo with session players and resolved to lead a group of his own. It became a stadium act three years later with Slippery When Wet, the number-one album that carried Livin’ on a Prayer, You Give Love a Bad Name and Wanted Dead or Alive. Richie Sambora left in 2013 and Phil X took the guitar chair in 2016, while David Bryan and Tico Torres have played beside him from the start.
A Grammy Award winner, the band entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018. In 2022 doctors found that one of Jon Bon Jovi’s vocal cords was atrophying. Major surgery and years of rehabilitation followed, and the Forever Tour became the band’s first run in four years and his first since the operation.
Wembley took the three closing dates, on Friday 4, Sunday 6 and Wednesday 9 September, the third of them the final night of the whole tour. Forever, the album behind the tour, was reissued that week as a Legendary Edition, its songs recut alongside other artists.
