Twenty years after their 2006 debut, BIGBANG bring the 20/26 World Tour to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 26 September 2026, three weeks after JAY-Z played the same pitch.
BIGBANG were assembled by YG Entertainment and debuted in 2006 to a lukewarm reception. What changed it was Lies, in 2007, which topped the Korean charts for six consecutive weeks and won Song of the Year at that year’s Mnet Km Music Festival, setting the template the group has been credited with since: members who write and produce their own material, and a willingness to change genre between records. Alive, their fifth EP, became the first Korean album to chart on the US Billboard 200 in 2012, five years before the wave that followed it.
Three of the five remain: G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung. Seungri left the industry in 2019 and T.O.P left the group in 2023, and the trio has continued without recruiting replacements. Four Japanese studio albums, released between 2009 and 2016, were all certified gold by Japan’s recording industry association, and the group won the inaugural Best Worldwide Act award at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2011. G-Dragon’s solo career has run alongside the group for most of its life.
The 20/26 tour marks the anniversary, and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is its London date. London has not had them since before the line-up changed.
