BIGBANG bring the 20/26 World Tour to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 26 September 2026, the tour marking twenty years since their debut.
BIGBANG were assembled by YG Entertainment and debuted in 2006 to a shrug. What changed it was “Lies”, in 2007, which held the top of the Korean charts for six consecutive weeks and set the template the group has been credited with ever since: members who write and produce their own material, and a willingness to change genre between records. They are routinely called the kings of K-pop, and Alive in 2012 became the first Korean album to chart in the United States, five years before the wave everyone remembers.
Three of the five remain — G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung. Seungri left the industry in 2019 and T.O.P left the group in 2023, and the trio has kept going without recruiting replacements, which for a manufactured group is an unusual amount of self-determination. Four Japanese albums went gold, they took the first worldwide act award at the European music awards in 2011, and G-Dragon’s solo work has run alongside the group for most of its life.
The 20/26 tour marks twenty years since the debut, and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 26 September 2026 is its London date, three weeks after JAY-Z on the same pitch. For a generation of listeners who arrived at Korean pop through the acts that followed, this is the group all of them cite. London has not had them since before the line-up changed.
