Guilty Greek Pleasures by Trashformers

Trashformers, the Athens party collective, takes over O2 Academy Islington for a night of Greek records from the nineties and the decade after it — the pop, the rock and the Eurovision entries that a generation grew up on. The singer Bessy Argyraki joins as guest. The night falls the evening before the Eurovision final, and doors are at eight rather than the collective’s usual later start. Trashformers play London roughly once a year, having previously run nights at this room and at the Electric Ballroom in Camden.
