Simon Stone, writer and director, returns to the Bridge Theatre with a contemporary reimagining of Aeschylus’s Oresteia, the foundational trilogy of Greek tragedy. A modern family wakes inside the ancient myth and finds no escape from its inherited fate, rendered in Stone’s characteristically free, present-tense idiom. Mary-Louise Parker and David Morrissey lead an ensemble that includes Tom Glynn-Carney, Rosie Sheehy and Archie Madekwe, with set design by Lizzie Clachan and lighting by Nick Schlieper. The strictly limited eleven-week engagement runs from 3 July to 19 September 2026.
