The ninth edition of London’s flagship Greek philanthropic gala brought patrons, diplomats and the wider Anglo-Greek establishment to The Dorchester on Park Lane. The Hellenic Initiative’s annual dinner raises funds for programmes supporting Greece’s economic recovery and its young people, and the Mayfair setting matched the evening’s purpose with quiet grandeur. A black-tie seated dinner, considered speeches and a well-connected room made it the season’s most significant Greek date. It set the stage for the decade-marking tenth gala the following year.
