Maddox Club

Maddox Club has occupied the same Mill Street address since 2007, and in that time it has become one of the more reliably discreet options in Mayfair's late-night circuit. The ground floor belongs to Wilfred's, a restaurant and shisha lounge with its own entrance on Maddox Street: curved booths, candle-lit tables, a Mediterranean sharing menu. Downstairs is a different proposition. The Main Room is built around a signature LED-panel wall and a resident DJ booth, with tiered leather banquettes and a mosaic gold bar at the foot of the staircase. The connected Green Room is self-contained, recently refurbished with commissioned artwork and infinity mirrors, and runs its own programme.

The layout makes the club unusually flexible for private hire. Each of the four distinct spaces can be taken independently: the Green Room for 100, the Courtyard for 80, Wilfred's for up to 170, or the Main Room for 170. The entire venue scales to 430 standing on full buy-out. Because the club operates only three nights a week, the spaces are regularly available for daytime and weekday events in formats the nightly programme doesn't accommodate.

For a DJ-led private event, the Main Room is the obvious starting point: the booth is resident-grade and the acoustics are designed for music rather than conversation. The Green Room offers a more contained alternative when the guest list is tighter, with the option to connect through to the courtyard for outdoor moments. Maddox Street's private entrance to Wilfred's means the restaurant component can be run entirely separately from the club below.
