Kin House

Kin House is a Grade II*-listed manor on the edge of Kington Langley in north Wiltshire, set in ten acres of walled gardens and private woodland. It opened in July 2022 after a year of restoration, with interiors by Barlow & Barlow: tortoiseshell and leopard print, a shell mural in the hall by the decorative artist Mel Campion, and original delft tiles reused through the house. Fitz Bar takes its name from Langley Fitzurse, the village's medieval name.

The house is let whole for private parties, launches, takeovers and retreats. Inside the main house, Fitz Bar opens into the Drawing Room for a reception of 100, the Hearth Room seats dinner beside its 18th-century fireplace, and the Study takes a dinner of twelve. Kilvert Hall sits in a separate wing, light and vaulted, with its own bar, a dance floor and a hidden stage: 200 at long tables or 400 standing. Its Kilvert Bar has an Art Deco-inspired marble bar, a curtained performance area and a checkerboard-tiled floor. The light-filled Garden House opens onto the walled garden.

A 21-metre pool, designed with Barlow & Barlow and opened in July 2025, has its own poolside bar and a shell-encrusted pool house. Eighteen bedrooms across the house and the Lodge sleep 36 and are held for the party alone, and Fitz Bar stays open into the early hours for guests who are staying. An in-house kitchen cooks family-style sharing plates and whole joints over fire in the woodland glade.
