/ About
Blueprint London is a single open event space on the Thames at Butlers Wharf, in the building on Shad Thames that once housed the Blueprint Café. A wall of floor-to-ceiling glass runs the length of the room, with Tower Bridge and the towers of the City on one side of the view and the converted wharves of the north bank across the water. In summer the glass doors fold back to the riverside terrace; in winter the same windows frame the lit skyline.
The room is bright and pared back, with pale oak floors, mirrored columns and a glass roof along the river edge. It dresses as easily for one long table as for rounds of eighty, or clears for a standing reception of up to 150. Food and drink come from the two sister restaurants a few doors along, Le Pont de la Tour and Butlers Wharf Chop House, so a dinner can run on a French menu or a British one, with canapé and bowl-food menus for standing events.
Blueprint is hired whole, so the room and the view belong to one party for the night. It suits a wedding dinner, a brand launch or a company celebration. Amplified music is permitted within a set sound limit until 11pm (10pm on Sundays), so it reads as a dinner and reception room rather than a late dance floor.
