/ About

67 Pall Mall is a private members' club built for wine, occupying a Grade II listed former bank designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1929. The founding club of an international group, it opened in 2015 in the heart of St James's, with members spread across several floors of oak-panelled rooms, a clubroom, bars and a cellar that still holds the bank's old Chatwood vault. The list runs to over a thousand wines by the glass, poured by an award-winning sommelier team.

For private events the club keeps four distinct spaces. The St James's Room is the largest, with its own discreet entrance from Pall Mall, natural daylight and full audio-visual; it seats 25 for dinner and holds up to 80 for a standing reception or walk-around tasting. The Marlborough Room is an oak-panelled room on the mezzanine, seating 12 with views across to the Queen's Chapel and St James's Palace, while the ground-floor Lutyens Room takes 12 around a single table beneath a skylight, equipped for presentations. The Wine Library, lined with the club's collection, suits small tastings of up to eight.

This is a wine-led setting rather than a club for late-night music, and that is the appeal for an intimate, seated event: panelled rooms, a serious sommelier team and a discreet address a few doors from St James's Palace. Spaces are available for private hire to members and non-members alike, with the events team arranging food, wine and any technical requirements on enquiry.
