The Global Gift Gala London

Sunday, 15 November 2026 Kimpton Fitzroy London · Bloomsbury

The Global Gift Foundation brings its gala back to London on Sunday 15 November 2026, black tie at the Kimpton Fitzroy: cocktails and a red carpet at 7.30, dinner and a live auction at 8.30.

The Spanish actress and philanthropist María Bravo founded the Global Gift Foundation in 2013 to work with children, women and families in vulnerable circumstances. It began by funding other charities and grew into running its own projects, and it operates through a gala that moves between cities rather than through a single annual night, presenting a Humanitarian Award at each one. Anastacia is among those who have received it.

A travelling gala is an unusual model and it changes what the evening is. There is no home city and no fixed committee, so the room is assembled fresh each time from whoever the foundation can convene locally, which makes a London edition a statement that the foundation intends to return rather than a fixture people already hold in the diary.

The 2026 gala is at the Kimpton Fitzroy on Russell Square on Sunday 15 November, with cocktails and a red carpet from half past seven and dinner, performances and a live auction from half past eight, black tie. London had an edition every year from 2011 to 2019 and this is the first since. A Sunday is an unusual night for a black-tie dinner in this city, which tells you the room is being assembled around the foundation’s own travelling calendar rather than around London’s. The foundation now runs galas in several countries and funds its own projects from them.
