Charlotte de Witte closes the opening season at Ironworks in Silvertown on Sunday 1 November 2026, 2pm to 10pm, her only UK show this year. Sold out; the venue holds a waiting list.
Charlotte de Witte is from Ghent and spent her first years on record under the name Raving George. What she plays now is techno at its most austere: fast, dark, stripped to the rhythm, with none of the melodic softening that made the genre saleable elsewhere. She runs her own label, KNTXT, also a party series and a stage brand.
She is, by most measures, the biggest techno artist in the world at the moment, and the interesting thing is that she got there without moderating the music. The KNTXT nights sell arenas on a sound that a decade ago belonged in basements. KNTXT started as a party in Belgium and is now a label, a festival stage and a touring brand in its own right, which is how an artist playing music this uncompromising ended up with an infrastructure around her.
She plays Ironworks on Sunday 1 November 2026 from two until ten, closing the new Silvertown room’s opening season four weeks after Jamie Jones opened it and three after Eric Prydz. It is billed as her only UK show of the year and her first in the building. It sold out before the season opened, and the venue now keeps a resale list instead. The door is over-18. It is the third of three names that opened this room, and the hardest of them.
