Charlotte de Witte closes Ironworks’ opening season on Sunday 1 November 2026, her only UK date this year and her first appearance in the Silvertown room.
Charlotte Aloïs de Witte was born in Ghent on 21 July 1992, started DJing there in 2010 and moved into production about two years after that. She first performed as Raving George, an alias adopted to sidestep the preconceptions that came with a woman’s name on a techno bill, and released under it until 2015, when she dropped it for her own name and moved from electro house into the harder, more minimal techno she plays now: fast, dark, stripped to the rhythm and built for the room rather than the radio.
She runs KNTXT, her label since 2019, alongside a party series and a stage brand, and started a second label, Époque, in 2024. The reader poll that ranks the world’s working DJs first placed her in 2019, at number 74; by 2025 she had climbed to ninth, her first time inside its top ten, built without moderating the music for a wider audience.
The booking asks the building for something different from the two nights before it, which were built on scale and staging. Where those needed spectacle, de Witte asks Ironworks for nothing but a dark space and a rig built for low end.
