Fortune Family, the group behind Michelin-starred Lita in Marylebone, is bringing the Milanese chef Luca Natalini to an all-day Italian restaurant just off Regent Street.
Salone is a second London restaurant from Fortune Family, the group behind Lita on Paddington Street, and a first in the city for the Milanese chef Luca Natalini. It takes 6,700 sq ft at 5-6 Vigo Street, beside Burberry where the street meets Regent Street, on a 15-year lease from The Crown Estate. It is due to open in autumn 2026. Fortune Family has not yet published a page of its own for it; its website lists a London restaurant as coming soon.
Open kitchens on two floors
The Crown Estate’s plan, published when the lease was signed in June, puts an open kitchen on each floor. The ground floor is to centre on pizza and the first on a live pasta station, with seafood and meat on the menu and a bar built for aperitivo and the later evening. The room will have a long communal table and counter seating.
From Lita to Salone
Lita won a Michelin star within a year of opening in 2024, and the Guide still lists it with one star, for cooking that leans on fire and on British produce. Natalini cooks at Autem in Milan, where the Michelin Guide describes a handwritten menu that changes daily with the deliveries. Salone is broader and more casual than either. It is planned for shoppers, residents and office workers as well as for dinner.
