/ About
Lagana is the latest opening from the Pachamama Group, the house behind Nina and Gold, and it takes over the Shoreditch site that was formerly Pachamama East. It opened in September 2025 as a Greek kitchen named after the puffed flatbread that arrives hot from the oven with bowls of seasonal spreads and dips. Group executive chef Tzoulio Loulai cooks a Mediterranean menu built for sharing: skewers and saganaki, dry-aged cuts, ceviche, and the flatbread the room is named for.
The old room has been opened out and stripped back. Bare plaster and exposed brick meet a long mosaic-tiled bar in brushed steel, vintage glass-globe chandeliers hang over white-clothed tables lit by candles, and contemporary artworks punctuate the walls. An open kitchen anchors the back dining room, while the front runs to counter seating and the bar, where the drinks list leans on colour-named cocktails and easy-drinking wines. The mood is buzzy and social rather than hushed, the sort of room that fills with larger groups on a weeknight.
The whole venue is available for private hire, which suits the group buyouts Lagana does best. Group menus and larger bookings are arranged through hello@lagana.london.
